Bite of Burnaby is a month-long food festival happening in March that features special multi-course menus from restaurants around the city.
With so many exciting options, it’s the perfect opportunity to transform a meal into a full date night! Below are some simple and fun itineraries for those in the Brentwood and Metrotown neighbourhoods.
Brentwood Date Night Itinerary Options
Dinner Option 1 – Earl’s Amazing Brentwood
Start the date off at the new Earl’s at Amazing Brentwood and enjoy a truly amazing experience! With its stunning aesthetics, delicious menu and fantastic atmosphere, you’ll be assured of the chain’s reputation for consistency.
For this year’s Bite of Burnaby, they are offering both lunch and dinner menus that feature some of their signature and popular items such as Clam Chowder and Truffle Tortellini on their menu.
And don’t forget about the decadent dessert offered!

Dinner Option 2 – Atlas Steak + Fish
Looking for something a bit more luxurious and fancy experience? Then award-winning and top-rated Burnaby restaurant, Atlas Steak & Fish, will be your best bet!
Their $55 multi-course Bite of Burnaby menu features an Amuse Bouche followed by three courses filled with delicious entrees including Josper Smoked Potato Chowder, 6oz Petite Filet Bernaise, Pan Seared Creole Ling Cod and Raspberry Lemoncello Tart.
For those willing to splurge, a wine pairing can also be included for each course for $70.

Activity Option 1 – The REC Room

A classic spot for an indoor date is always the arcade and The REC Room delivers just that plus much more!
Featuring over 90+ different games and VRs, there’s something here for everyone no matter what your gaming preference is (shooters to rhythm games to VR to luck-based). Dinner Option 1: ZUBU Ramen Metrotown

ZUBU is the place to be if you’re looking for a lively and vibrant atmosphere! Ramen may be what they are known for but they have way more than that. Try their $35 Bite of Burnaby menu to see their diverse culinary range.
Their 4-course $35 menu offers up a great selection of items like Takoyaki (octopus balls), 5 Piece Crispy Chicken, Temaki Hand Roll (hand-rolled sushi), Tonkotsu Kuro Ramen (black garlic pork broth ramen), Mazesoba (dry noodle dish) and Mochi Ice Cream (rice cake ice cream).
You’ll certainly get value for your money with all the dishes included!

Dinner Option 2: Time & Place

For the spring season, the Burnaby Village Museum is open from March 13 – March 24 and they close early (last admission is 4 PM) so we recommend heading here before your dinner!
