It’s becoming all too common to hear about longtime beloved food spots closing shop in the city…
And unfortunately, Pajo’s Fish & Chips at Garry Point is the latest victim.
After 23 years of service, the chain is forced to shut down its Garry Point location at the end of the month, much to the disappointment of its loyal customers.
This is shocking news as peak tourism season is incoming.

According to Pajo’s announcement on their Instagram page, the City of Richmond has chosen a new vendor for the location, which means that Pajo’s will have to vacate the premises.
For those who haven’t frequented the Garry Point location, a building housed both Pajo’s and Timothy’s Frozen Yogurt in the same building as a takeout service.

This was a great option for those who wanted a quick bite while enjoying the beach and trail at Garry Point Park.
The news of the closure has saddened many, but Pajo’s will continue to operate at their other locations, including Steveston Wharf, Rocky Point, and YVR airport. So, while you will no longer be able to enjoy Pajo’s famous fish and chips at Garry Point, you can still visit their other locations to get their fish & chips fix.
The last day of service at the Garry Point location will be on March 31st, so if you’re a fan of Pajo’s Fish & Chips and happen to be in the area, make sure to stop by before they close their doors for good.
