The bubble tea craze seems to NEVER end.
Despite our recent finding of Whale Tea taking over the previous Exposure Bubble Tea unit in Richmond, another bubble tea chain is quietly making its way to the city.
We spotted SHUYI Tealicious is taking over the OMG Marketing Group unit in Continental Centre. This will be their first British Columbia outpost.
SHUYI Tea first opened in Chengdu, Sichuan back in 2007. Since then, they have expanded their operations to over 7000 locations worldwide. In 2018, they opened their first overseas store in Toronto and now have 23 locations across the east coast.
SHUYI is known for offering a healthy amount of toppings and grass jelly in their drinks. They even have a dedicated line of drinks that tops their grass jelly like Signature Grass Jelly Milk Tea, Taro Balls Grass Jelly Milk Tea, and Grass Jelly Meet Yogurt.
In addition to their unique toppings, SHUYI also offers a variety of fresh fruit teas and milk teas that many are huge fans of. Their commitment to quality ingredients and innovative flavors has helped them become one of the most popular bubble tea chains worldwide.
We can’t wait to try out SHUYI’s offerings when they open up in Richmond! However, after peeking through the windows, it looks like they have several months to go as renovations just started.
