Lougheed and Brentwood have quietly become one of the best eating corridors in Burnaby, and the Bite of Burnaby deals in this area prove it.
The Bite of Burnaby food festival is back from March 1 to 31 with over 75 participating restaurants across the city.
We’ve rounded up seven of the best deals in Lougheed and Brentwood so you don’t have to scroll through the whole list yourself.
1. Saku Brentwood

The amount of food you get here for $33 is honestly ridiculous.
Pick either the Pork Duo & Prawn Katsu Set or the Chicken Duo & Prawn Katsu Set.
Both come with rice, cabbage, tonjiru soup with unlimited refills, Japanese pickles, a mini udon, potato croquette, ebi katsu, and three pieces of mochi ice cream for dessert.
That’s basically the entire kitchen on a tray.
If you like katsu, you already know what to do.

2. OEB Breakfast Co.

Brunch people, pay attention.
$28 gets you one main and one drink or dessert.
The mains are where it gets interesting.
There’s a Truffled Squash Benny on a butter croissant with brown butter hollandaise and herb potatoes fried in beef tallow.
A Rosemary Ham & Truffled Mushroom Crepe with porcini and white truffle ragu.
Or a Fior D’latte Crostini on artisan French rye with truffles and Hass avocado.
Then you’re picking between a Raspberry Refresher with Empress gin, a Lavender Lemonade, a zero-proof Pomegranate Nojito, or a personal-sized Nutella French Toast.
They close at 3 PM daily so don’t sleep in too long.
Price: $28

3. Bin 4 Burger Lounge

Three courses for $30 and you get to pick from five different burgers. Not bad.
Starters are a strawberry and goat cheese salad, sweet and spicy fried cauliflower with gochujang Thai honey sauce, or goat cheese bruschetta.
Burgers range from the Wild Mushroom with truffle aioli to the Dirty Bourbon with whiskey BBQ and chorizo to a plant-based Mr. Bean 2.0.
The move is upgrading to the Big Spenny for $2 more.
That’s Brant Lake Wagyu beef with aged orange cheddar and smoked bacon.
Dessert is a flourless chocolate torte or a chocolate hazelnut coconut mousse.
Price: $30 (Big Spenny +$2)
Address: 2350 Boundary Road, Burnaby, BC
4. Steve’s Poke Bar (Brentwood & Lougheed)

$17 for a signature poke bowl with two scoops and a free Hawaiian Fruit Tea. That’s it. That’s the pitch.
They’ve also got a $20 combo with a Mini Traditional Bowl and the same free drink, plus you can throw on unlimited toppings for $2 more.
This is the grab-and-go pick on the list. You’re in, you’re full, you’re out.
Price: $17-$20
5. Agra Tandoori (Canada Way)

You know when you just want a proper Indian meal and don’t feel like overthinking it? This is that.
$33 gets you three courses. Starters are chilli chicken tikka, samosa chaat, or a pakora plate.
Mains go from a tandoori bowl to curry with naan to biryani with raita, all with your pick of protein. Then you’re finishing with mango ice cream, gulab jamun, or ras malai.
Nothing fancy, nothing missing.
Just a solid, filling Indian meal that does exactly what you want it to.

6. Joey Burnaby

Joey’s got two tiers here. A three-course lunch at $40 and a three-course dinner at $55.
Lunch keeps it casual with starters like sushi cones and Korean fried cauliflower, then mains like baja fish tacos, the Joey cheeseburger, or Szechuan lettuce wraps.
Dinner turns it up. Seared salmon sushi and Japanese gyoza to start, then you’re choosing between herb crush salmon with truffle beurre blanc, steak frites, or a truffle udon carbonara with katsu chicken.
Both menus finish with baked apple pie, warm Italian donuts, or molten chocolate cake with Tahitian vanilla ice cream. This is the date night pick.
Price: $40 (lunch) | $55 (dinner)
Address: 109-1899 Rosser Avenue, Burnaby, BC
7. Hello Nori

Seven courses. $55. All premium sushi. You’re going to want to read this one twice.
You start with sashimi, two pieces each of o-toro and hamachi plus a scallop. Then a premium oshi trio with wagyu, botan ebi, and bafun uni.
After that it’s four hand rolls back to back: seabream shiso, bluefin negitoro, crunchy scallop, and truffle lobster.
Dessert is two pieces of mochi ice cream.
This is the kind of deal where you show up, eat like royalty, and walk out wondering how it was only $55.
Easily the most premium offering on this list.
