After a year of waiting, one of the most anticipated bubble tea openings in Richmond finally has a date.
Molly Tea, the wildly popular Chinese jasmine tea brand, is officially opening its first BC location on April 18 at Union Square Shopping Centre on Capstan Way.
The brand just dropped the full details on Instagram, and it is going to be a big one.
Molly Tea has built a massive following across China with over 700 stores, and it has already proven its pull in Canada with locations in Toronto and Edmonton drawing huge lineups.
If you have been following along, we first reported on Molly Tea back when signage went up at Union Square earlier this year.
Now the brand has confirmed the opening with a three-phase grand opening promotion plan that is practically begging you to show up early.

Phase 1 runs from April 18 to 19 and kicks off with a buy one get one free deal, limited to one order per person per day.
The first 200 guests on each day will also receive a Jasmine Gift Box that includes a Vancouver Store Limited Edition Badge, a Four-Leaf Star Pendant, a Feather Pendant, and a Pink Sachet.
Even if you miss the first 200, customers from number 201 onward can still grab a Four-Leaf Star Pendant or the Limited Edition Badge with any purchase, while supplies last (50 per day).
Phase 2 runs from April 20 to 22 and offers 50% off your second drink, plus a choice of merch with any purchase including a Feather Pendant, Goose Scented Pendant, Black Sachet, or Blue Sachet.
Phase 3 wraps things up from April 23 to 24 with a scratch and win card included with every purchase for a chance at special prizes.

Grand opening hours on April 18 and 19 are extended from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m.
After that, regular hours will be Monday to Thursday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to midnight, and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Given how massive the lineups were at other Molly Tea openings across Canada, you should probably plan to show up early if you want to snag any of the limited merch.
Molly Tea joins a growing wave of new food and drink spots heading to Richmond, including Alfa Tea, TeaByDo, and Daydreamers by Cafe 33, all of which are also setting up in the area.
Will you be lining up on April 18?
