Another celebrity has been spotted dining out in Vancouver, and this time it is someone who grew up here.
Little Bird Dim Sum shared a photo on Instagram over the weekend showing Seth Rogen posing with the restaurant’s team during what they called “a pretty special Sunday.”
The actor and Vancouver native reportedly stopped by the dim sum spot just before heading back home to Los Angeles.
“Always an honour to have such great company in the room,” the restaurant wrote in the post. “Thanks for dropping in, safe travels and see you again soon!”
For those unfamiliar, Seth Rogen is originally from Vancouver and has been open about his connection to the city over the years.
He grew up in the area before making his way to Los Angeles, and he has never really been quiet about his love for the city.
It is not unusual for him to pop up at local spots when he is back in town, and Little Bird Dim Sum appears to have been a stop he keeps returning to!
This actually makes his third visit to the restaurant, with the first going back in 2023.
Little Bird Dim Sum is not your average dim sum spot. The Vancouver restaurant holds a Michelin Bib Gourmand and credits three generations of dedication for getting there.
It is also the sister restaurant to Flamingo, the longtime Chinese restaurant that shut down last year after 50 years.
Their whole thing is pairing traditional dim sum with BC craft beers, and they lean into classics like Siu Mai, Scallop Taro Puff, and Steamed BBQ Pork Bun.
This is the latest in a growing list of celebrity sightings at Vancouver restaurants that we have covered.
Earlier this year, K-pop and hip-hop star Jackson Wang was spotted at Nomo Nomo and Lunch Lady during a visit to Vancouver, where he called the food “speechless.”
Nick Jonas has also become a repeat visitor at Desi Indian Lounge, the elevated Indian restaurant in the city, returning multiple times.
And over Valentine’s Day weekend, the four Hobbit actors from the Lord of the Rings franchise were spotted dining together at Vij’s, one of Vancouver’s most well-known restaurants.
Vancouver has quietly become a regular stop for celebrities dining out, and the local food scene keeps showing up on their radar.
