Thanksgiving Monday lands on October 12 this year, and the take-home cutoffs are already creeping up.
Some turkey kits close as early as October 6, and a few dining rooms are getting tight for the long weekend.
Here’s where to order a full spread for home, plus the dinners and brunches worth booking if nobody wants to do dishes.
1. Turkey To-Go, Brunch and Dinner – Notch8

Got a crowd and zero oven space? Notch8’s to-go box shows up with a whole Fraser Valley turkey and every side you’d expect, plus mac and cheese.
Gingerbread cheesecake closes it out, and tax is already baked into the price.

Boulevard’s package reads more like a restaurant dinner than a kit.
You get brined, sage-roasted breast and slow-roasted legs, Madeira giblet gravy, brioche-apple-chestnut stuffing and butternut squash soup to start.
Chef Kenta’s caramel apple pie is the closer.
Choose cold to reheat at home or pick it up hot, sized for four or eight, with a whole-turkey option for 8 to 10.
Orders run until October 7 or until they sell out, whichever comes first.

It’s slow-roasted Fraser Valley turkey with sage gravy, whipped Yukon Golds, maple Brussels sprouts and orange-braised carrots.
You choose pumpkin or pecan pie for dessert.
Stuffing, cranberry relish, and rolls with butter are in the box too.
The two-person size is honestly handy if it’s a small year.

It’s packed cold for you to reheat, with pumpkin pie included.
Vegetarians can add butternut squash lasagna by the portion.
The shop says it’s sold out in past years, so don’t leave it to the last minute.
Price: $69.99 (serves 2), $119.99 (serves 4) or $169.99 (serves 6); butternut squash lasagna $5.99 per portion

There’s a berry butter tart and pumpkin pie for dessert.
Rather eat out? The Sunday brunch buffet brings chilled seafood, omelette and carving stations, eggs Benedict and turkey.
It’s the only menu running that day, and seatings are capped at two hours.
Take-home: $145 (serves 4); pre-order by October 8; pickup October 11, 11 am to 5 pm

Pumpkin pie with vanilla Chantilly finishes it off.
Per guest, it’s one of the better deals for a big table.
Heads up: October 11 pickup was already full on October 4, so plan on Monday.

The herb-marinated whole turkey comes with apricot and sage brioche stuffing, maple-glazed root vegetables, Brussels sprouts and rosemary brioche rolls.
A pumpkin butterscotch tart is the sweet finish.
Gravy and cranberry sauce come with it, so there’s no last-minute grocery run.
For smaller groups, the individual Carvery to Go dinners make more sense.

A 10-inch pumpkin pie comes with it, and truffle mac and cheese is a worthy add-on.

Basque cheesecake with pumpkin caramel wraps it up.
Get it as a kit for Sunday, or sit down for the family-style version in the Railtown dining room on Monday night.
Same price either way, which makes this an easy call.

Then it’s turkey roulade with sage-cranberry stuffing and garlic potato purée, or a squash and wild mushroom Wellington for the non-meat eaters.
Basque cheesecake or apple-cranberry crumble caps it off.
For the price, this is honestly one of the stronger three-course deals around.

The slow-roasted Fraser Valley turkey comes with roast apple and sage stuffing, and there’s halibut, prime rib or roast eggplant if someone’s over turkey.
