Bruno Mars was spotted getting ice cream at a Vancouver gelato shop famous for its 238 flavours, on a day off between BC Place shows.
The shop is La Casa Gelato on Venables Street in Strathcona, and a Bruno Mars fan account shared the photos on Instagram.
In the photos, he’s in sunglasses and a black cap, posing with a small group of fans in front of the shop’s pink ice cream cone mural.
The mural is the giveaway, with its “238 FLAVOURS on Location” lettering right behind him.
The post doesn’t say what he ordered, and La Casa Gelato hasn’t shared which flavour he picked.
Mars was in town for The Romantic Tour, with a five-show run at BC Place in October.
He wasn’t just stopping for dessert, either.
He also ate at a Main Street Vietnamese restaurant several times during his stay.
La Casa Gelato is a family-run shop, now three generations in, according to its website.
In 2019 it was named the Guinness World Record holder for “Most Commercially Available Flavours,” with 238 flavours available at once.
Its full list is past 588 flavours and growing, so what’s in the cases rotates.
