On June 7th, the team celebrated the grand opening of their new storefront.

Chai is not just tea; it’s a cultural experience.

Originating from India, chai is a spiced milk tea traditionally made with rich black tea, whole milk, a blend of spices like ginger, cardamom, cinnamon, fennel, clove, black pepper, and a sweetener.

In India, chai is a way of life.

From the streets filled with chaiwallahs to the comforting sip shared among friends, chai brings people together.

The Chai Wagon aimed to introduce this rich culture to Vancouver, blending Indian traditions with Canadian values.

At their new shop, you’ll find a variety of hot and cold chai options.

The traditional freshly made chai is a must-try, hot, creamy, and fragrant with spices and just the right amount of sweetness.

The storefront also offers an assortment of Indian street food and sweets.

Treat yourself to pakoras, samosas, butter chicken sandwiches, and vada pav (Indian street burger).

If you choose to grab a seat, the cup of chai is served in pottery cups, enhancing the authentic experience.

The founders of Chai Wagon believe in the power of chai to unite people and connect.

Whether you’re chilling out, having an important chat, or taking a break from work, chai is the perfect companion.

If you haven’t tried Chai Wagon yet, now is the perfect time to visit their new location in Mount Pleasant.
