If you’ve noticed, Yaletown’s been getting quite a makeover and it’s all about food!
Alongside the buzz about the new Hannam Supermarket Express and the transformation of Nightshade into Dovetail, there’s also a fresh Japanese handroll spot in the works.
It’s clear – Yaletown is evolving, and we’re here for it!
Among these changes, there’s one more exciting one: Nightingale is opening a new location in this neighbourhood.
Ever since the Yaletown Distillery Bar shuttered back in December 2022, after 10 years of operation, many have wondered what will happen to the space.
Well, now we know – Nightingale is set to take over the old Yaletown Distillery spot.
Their team has confirmed with Noms Magazine that they are bringing its farm-to-table charm to Yaletown by the end of 2024 or early 2025.
Nightingale first opened its doors in 2016 in Coal Harbour and is the second restaurant venture by Chef Hawksworth.
The essence of Nightingale, inspired by Aesop’s classic fable, is about appreciating and making the most of the present.
Known for its chic interior in a historical 19th-century building and emphasis on locally-sourced ingredients, the menu at Nightingale is a testament to the rich produce available right here in Vancouver.
The menu is a mix of everything delicious – wood-oven pizzas, vibrant salads, fresh veggies, a stellar drink menu, and mouth-watering house-made pastas.
And don’t forget their buttermilk fried chicken!
With Nightingale’s entry, Yaletown’s culinary landscape is getting a big boost.
This isn’t just another restaurant opening; it’s a sign of the neighbourhood’s continued push to be a hotspot for great food.
