A popular Langley restaurant has posted patio security footage of what shows its disco ball being taken before dawn.
Next time, the restaurant says it is getting an AirTag.
Haven Kitchen + Bar on 64 Avenue shared the clip on its Instagram on October 30.
“We’re starting to take this personally,” the caption reads.
The camera is labelled “Fire Pit” and looks across the patio.
Its timestamp reads October 19, 5:51 a.m.
In the footage, a person in dark clothing yanking the disco ball down.
Seconds later they hop onto their electric bike and rides off down the road.
It doesn’t sound like the first one.
The text over the video reads, “At this point, we’d just like to know where they’re all going…”
That “all,” plus the caption’s “next one,” points to more than one missing disco ball, though the restaurant hasn’t said how many.
The whole post is played deadpan.
When one commenter joked that someone is just trying to bring disco back, Haven answered with three dancing emojis.

The post doesn’t mention police, and the restaurant hasn’t named anyone.
The patio is a big part of what Haven is known for.
OpenTable named it to its lists of Canada’s top 100 outdoor dining spots in 2022, 2023 and 2025.
