One year later, Galbi has quietly opened its doors, marking the brand’s fourth Metro Vancouver location and second in Burnaby.
Known for its premium cuts and classic Korean fare, Galbi’s menu at Gilmore Place stays true to its roots.
Guests can expect a selection of high-quality meats, including fresh and marinated short ribs, pork belly, pork jowl, and brisket point — all designed for a full grill-it-yourself experience.
The BBQ menu features both individual orders and combo options built for sharing, alongside a lunch menu of comforting soups, bibimbap, and cold noodles.
Popular house specials like corn cheese, seafood pancake, japchae, and beef tartare also make an appearance.
The new location offers a 10% discount on all BBQ menu items from 12 PM to 4 PM, making it a solid option for a weekday lunch feast.
Combo sets range from smaller two-person BBQ lunches to larger family-style options serving up to eight people, ensuring something for every group size.
Galbi joins a growing food lineup at Gilmore Place, which is quickly becoming a new Burnaby dining destination.
Just last month, Big Way Hot Pot opened its largest Burnaby location in the same development, adding even more variety to the area’s booming Asian food scene.
Galbi KBBQ Gilmore now joins a list of new Burnaby food spots like 2025 Cafe, Haidilao Express Malatang, and Dolce Amore Caffetteria.
