Metro Vancouver can’t get enough of hot pot, and the scene is about to get even better.
We’ve heard the whispers, and now it’s official: ChoCho, the sister brand of popular Macau hot pot brand Dolar Shop, is opening a new location in Richmond.
ChoCho’s Burnaby location, which opened in the summer of 2023, has been a huge hit.
It’s so popular that getting a reservation can often be a challenge.
The name, ChoCho, is derived from an Asian plant called “CHOCHO”.
Now, Richmond locals won’t have to travel far to enjoy this premium all-you-can-eat experience.
ChoCho’s new spot is set to open on the first floor of Aberdeen Centre, right across from the RBC and near the big fountain.
Job application posters have already appeared in the windows, signaling that ChoCho is gearing up for its Richmond debut soon.
Fans of the brand love the top-quality ingredients and the wide variety of items available.
Expect high-quality meats, seafood, veggies, and a range of over 47 options of dishes in their MARKET TABLE, all included in their all-you-can-eat hot pot concept.
We expect that the upcoming Aberdeen location will also offer a late night hot pot offer as their Kingsway one.
With ChoCho bringing its beloved offerings to Richmond, foodies in the area can look forward to indulging in a premium hot pot experience without trekking to Burnaby.
Although Dolar Shop hasn’t officially announced the opening date yet, we anticipate they’ll be welcoming guests this summer.
