Richmond’s food court scene is undergoing some serious changes, and another exciting addition is on the way.
If you’re a fan of affordable and authentic eats, you’ll be pleased to hear that Rice Holic is opening a second location at Empire Centre’s food court.
They’ll be taking over the former Mei Zhui Mei Chongqing stall near the entrance.
Rice Holic first opened in September 2021 when it opened in the Admiralty Centre food court.
They focus on a variety of rice bowls, like Taiwanese sausage fried rice, Taiwanese pork chop bento fried rice, and sautéed pork intestines fried rice.
But what really put Rice Holic on the map—back in July 2022, was their mango mochi which went mega viral.
It drew massive lines of eager customers hoping to get a taste and had preorders full for over 2 weeks at a time.
Now, Richmond locals will soon be able to enjoy Riceholic’s offerings at another food court.
The Rice Holic team shared with Noms Magazine that their Empire Centre location is slated to open at the beginning of September.
They further teased that locals can expect to see some of their fav items from the Admiralty Centre menu make an appearance.
The new location will also feature exclusive additions too.
This is great news for those who frequent Empire Centre, which is already home to popular stalls like Cloud 9 Delicacy, James Snacks, and Prata-man Express.
