Vancouver’s beloved The Pie Shoppe is sadly bidding adieu this September.
After 12 years of serving up delightful pies and more, the cherished Chinatown eatery shared on Instagram that it is officially wrapping up its run.
The Pie Shoppe opened back in 2012 and has been a local family run gem.
It started off as a pie bakery and coffee store and later added hearty pizzas, and carefully curated natural wine selections.
Their focus was doing things naturally and without all the artificial flavours, additives, dyes.
They were also huge champions of local growers and producers.
The shop was founded by the dynamic French sisters, Andi and Stephanie, who brought their vision of a cozy, community-focused spot to life.
Their pizza nights were particularly popular, offering delicious slices and whole pies that drew crowds from across the city.
While the announcement of their closure comes as a shock to the community, it’s clear that the sisters are looking forward to what’s next.
It was not an easy decision to make and isn’t due to any one factor. The Pie Shoppe was never intended to be forever, and for us it’s time to take a break.

The Pie Shoppe will continue to operate until the end of September, with a series of final events to celebrate their journey.
They’ll host pizza and pie nights on September 13th, 14th, and 20th, with reservations encouraged.
Whole pies and wine bottles will also be available for purchase during these final days.
So, make sure to swing by and savor their last offerings before they close their doors for good.
It’s a bittersweet farewell to a spot that has given so much to Vancouver’s food scene.
