Popular Vegan Fast Food Chain ‘Odd Burger’ To Open First Vancouver Location This Week [w/Promos]

Back in July 2023, we shared the exciting news that Odd Burger, the Canadian vegan fast-food chain, was set to open their first Vancouver outpost on Main Street.

Well, after more than a year…the wait is almost over!

Odd Burger has officially announced that their Vancouver grand opening is set for November 23rd!

The Vancouver outpost, taking over a spot on Main Street next to Maizal, is the latest step in Odd Burger’s mission to bring their popular plant-based offerings to the Western Canada food scene.

The brand has already more than 16 locations, with many many more on its way.

Victoria beat Vancouver to the rush and got their first Odd Burger back in August.

With its chic simplicity and eco-friendly design elements, the Vancouver location promises a welcoming vibe where plant-based food lovers can relax and indulge.

To celebrate the grand opening, Odd Burger is pulling out all the stops:

  • $1 Soft Serve: Get your hands on their delicious vegan soft serve, available in a cone or cup.
  • Tote Bags for the First 30 Guests: The first 30 people through the door will receive a limited edition Odd Burger tote bag.
  • Charity Donation: A portion of the day’s sales will be donated to their charity partners, so you can enjoy your meal while supporting a good cause.
  • Ribbon Cutting Ceremony: The festivities kick off at 12 PM with an official ribbon cutting.

Odd Burger’s menu is all about making plant-based versions of iconic fast-food classics, manufactured in their very own production facility.

So expect “familiar” burgers, fries, wraps, and drinks!

Their Famous Burger is THE one that put them on the map. It features house-made smash patties with a special seasoning blend, topped with lettuce, pickles, and their “Famous Sauce,” all on a sesame bun.

The BacUn Famous Melt offers a smoky twist with bacUn (crafted from oats, chickpeas, wheat gluten), dairy-free cheese, and grilled onions.

For those craving a crispy bite, the Crispy ChickUn delivers with hand-formed seitan fillets fried to perfection.

And ofcourse you can’t go on with a burger without a side! Take your pick from Smoky Pulled Jack Poutine, Tater Tot Poutine, Fries Supreme and more!

This is a huge step for Vancouver’s growing plant-based food scene and an exciting addition to Main Street.

If you’re curious about vegan fast food or just want to be part of the fun, mark your calendar for November 23rd and get ready to experience the “odd-ly” delicious!
