Seattle’s AYCE Korean BBQ Restaurant Spotted Opening In Richmond

Hot pot and Asian BBQ have risen in popularity in Metro Vancouver, with Burnaby and Richmond now offering over a dozen options for locals.

It looks like the trend isn’t stopping as we’ve spotted a new brand entering the Richmond market: Bellwether.

From our research, this new brand currently has one location in Seattle’s Chinatown that offers All You Can Eat Korean barbecue.

The simplest comparison would be Gyukaku.

Imagine sitting down to a feast where you can pick from bulgogi, garlic beef, pork belly, marinated short rib, and more – not to mention seafood delights like shrimp, fish, squid, and even ribeye and lamb!

However, Bellwether’s opening in Richmond seems to be slightly different from the Seattle location.

While it shares a name with its Seattle cousin, the Richmond branch seems to be mixing things up by offering both hot pot and BBQ under one roof.

They will be taking over the former Tian Shi Fu space on Alexandra Road.

The exact details of what we can expect on the menu are still under wraps and we’ll have to see how it will fair on Alexandra Road.

Once we have more information, we’ll let you know!
