John Cena just put out a guide to his favourite places to eat around the world, and one Vancouver spot made the list.

The spot is the award-winning Yaletown steakhouse, Elisa, and it made an 11-place guide called “Where John Cena Eats, from NYC to London.”

Apple TV published the guide on Apple Maps to celebrate Cena’s new film, Matchbox The Movie, which hit Apple TV on October 9.

In it, Cena “shares some of his favorite places to eat and drink around the world.”

Here’s what he wrote about Elisa:

“A diamond in Vancouver’s Yaletown district. The service, location, cuisine, and ambiance of Elisa have provided some of my most unforgettable moments. Try the beef Wellington and one of my favorite espresso martinis in the world.”

Other stops on the list include The Polo Bar in New York, where he says he dreams of the classic Reuben, and Alinea, where he credits chef Grant Achatz with changing the way he thinks about food.

There’s also Delbar, where he found some of the best Persian food he’s had outside his mother-in-law’s kitchen.

He also picked two coffee shops, including one he found down a side alley while walking through Hyde Park.

Elisa is also on the Michelin Guide’s 2026 Recommended list for Vancouver, which came out in early October.

Earlier this year, it also landed at No. 32 on the 2026 World’s 101 Best Steak Restaurants ranking.

If you’re going because of the list, he was specific about the order: the beef Wellington, with an espresso martini to finish.

Elisa joins other Vancouver restaurants getting national attention this fall, like Air Canada’s Best New Restaurants finalists Nui, Kavita, Touk and Angela Pastificio.
