North Van’s Popular Craft Froyo Shop Opens Its First Vancouver Spot

There is FINALLY somewhere to grab a frozen yogurt on your walk/bike ride along the seawall.

Earlier this week, we shared the news about North Vancouver’s Krave Kulture landing in Coal Harbour sometime soon.

Turns out they’ve just soft-opened the new kiosk as of July 22nd, and Owners Kamran and Moji invited us to take a look.

It is a summer pop-up, set up right at the Harbour Cruises marina at 501 Denman Street, at the exact spot where cruise guests board the boats.

Harbour Cruises has been running boats out of Coal Harbour for over 100 years and calls itself Western Canada’s largest cruising company, with three vessels operating from the marina.

The kiosk runs the lineup Krave regulars already know, from create-your-own frozen yogurt swirls to the shop’s sundaes.

The board carries the greatest hits too, from a Dubai Chocolate sundae to a Unicorn Bowl, plus organic yogurt bowls with almond butter, strawberries, and coconut, and take-home glass jars of the plain yogurt.

The froyo is the whole pitch, made in-house from organic Canadian milk and slow-fermented over 24 hours with live cultures and no thickeners.

If you want to sit, there are a few tables out on the dock so you can eat with the marina in view.

The team has also teased that mocktails are coming to this location soon.

Here is how I would play it: grab a swirl at the marina and keep moving along the seawall, or time it to a Harbour Cruises departure.

This is Krave Kulture’s third shop.

The original opened in North Vancouver’s Edgemont Village in 2021, and a second followed inside Lonsdale Quay Market in 2025, both on the North Shore.

Coal Harbour is the jump across the water, and their first real foothold in the city.

The team did tease us about looking for another location, but that’s still under wraps.

For the next couple of days, this Coal Harbour location will be in soft open mode.

The official grand opening is this Saturday, July 25, with a live band (3pm – 6pm) on the dock to mark it.

Krave Kulture Coal Harbour now joins other recently opened Vancouver food spots like Bloom Bakery and Cafe downtown, Cloudstreet at the Hyatt Regency, and Lagman at Robson Public Market.
