A new Italian sandwich and pasta shop with its own bakery is coming to Vancouver’s Fraser Street.
We spotted signage up for Tucci’s at 4440 Fraser Street, in one of the new Arlo buildings near 28th Avenue.
A green banner over the unit reads “Opening Soon,” with “Sandwiches, Pasta, Salad, Bakery” underneath.
The window describes it as a trattoria-style, fast casual Italian spot with both counter and table service.

The plan is house-baked focaccia sandwiches, fresh rolls, pasta, salads and an in-house bakery, plus beer and wine.
The window text pitches “generous portions and exceptional value,” in a room meant to feel “reminiscent of old-school Italian eateries and traditional family-owned deli-restaurants.”
Its Instagram bio has since added New York-style pizza to the list, along with dine-in, takeout and delivery.
When we walked by, a now-hiring panel was up in the window looking for sandwich makers, pasta cooks, bakers, servers and cashiers.
It also won’t be the only new food spot in the building.
Tahini’s, the shawarma chain, is moving in right next door, and it’s also still listed as coming soon.
That gives this stretch of Fraser near 28th an Italian deli and a shawarma counter within one doorway of each other.
Tucci’s joins other upcoming Vancouver food spots like Holy Shakes, Bento Cafe and Nuan Nuan Beef Noodle House.
