A restaurant in Vancouver’s Queen Elizabeth Park was just named the #1 fine dining restaurant in Canada in Tripadvisor’s Travelers’ Choice Awards.
Seasons in the Park shared the news on Instagram, saying the team is “incredibly proud and honoured” and “so proud to call Vancouver home.”
The restaurant sits high above the city inside the park, at West 33rd Avenue and Cambie, with views of the city and the mountains.
Executive chef Raghu Mopuri leads the kitchen, and the website lists a weekday prix-fixe lunch, a weekday happy hour and a weekly slow-roasted prime rib with Yorkshire pudding for $52.
In an archived copy of Tripadvisor’s Canada fine dining list from August 2025, Seasons wasn’t in the top 10 at all.
Back then, the only Vancouver names in that top 10 were Five Sails at #9 and Hawksworth at #10.
This year, three more Vancouver restaurants share the 17-spot 2026 list with Seasons.
Black + Blue, the Glowbal Restaurant Group steakhouse on Alberni Street, came in at #4, with its Toronto sibling at #15.

Bacchus, inside the Wedgewood Hotel on Hornby Street, landed at #11.
Five Sails, inside the Pan Pacific Hotel at Canada Place, is #12.
Its chef and co-owner, Alex Kim, runs a tasting menu called Rooted in Memory that reworks Korean dishes with Pacific Northwest seafood, poultry and produce.
Elsewhere in B.C., Marilena Cafe & Raw Bar (#6) and Pluvio in Ucluelet (#7) represent Vancouver Island, and Rimrock Cafe in Whistler closes out the list at #17.
Tripadvisor says its Best of the Best title goes to places with “a high volume of above-and-beyond reviews and opinions” from its community over a 12-month period, so this is a traveller vote, not an inspector’s verdict.
That makes it a different scoreboard from the MICHELIN Guide.

Of the four, Bacchus is the only one in the 2026 Vancouver guide we ran down on October 6, where its sommelier Mark Taylor also took the Sommelier Award.
