Coquitlam Centre’s food court is getting a new addition soon!
A Noms Mag community member (linaphotostory) spotted coming soon signs for Dinesty up in the food court.
The stall will be Dinesty’s second food court counter in Metro Vancouver.
The first opened at CF Richmond Centre on February 2025, and it was the chain’s first attempt at anything that was not a sit-down room.
The chain has been part of Metro Vancouver’s Chinese restaurant scene since 2006 and runs four full restaurants across the region.
Richmond Centre was the test of whether the soup dumplings survive as a stall.
They did, and the format there is worth knowing since Coquitlam is expected to mirror it.
The counter runs steamed pork and chicken soup dumplings by the six piece order, pan-fried pork pot stickers, steamed pork buns, and chive and napa cabbage dumplings.
There are two noodle soups as well, plus combos that pair a soup with dumplings or pot stickers.
It is the greatest hits, packed for a mall tray.
The Coquitlam signage carries no opening date, and no menu has been posted for the stall, so treat the Richmond lineup as the likely shape rather than a confirmed one.

Kinton Ramen put coming soon signage up in the same food court at the start of July, its second food court stall after the Waterfront Centre debut downtown.
Two established Metro Vancouver chains taking counters in the same hall within two months is not a coincidence.
Coquitlam Centre spent roughly $9 million rebuilding that food court in 2022, adding around 200 seats, a cafe section, and lounge seating.
Malls do that renovation to change who is willing to sign a lease in it, and this is what the return looks like four years later.
For shoppers it means the Coquitlam food court is quietly turning into a place people drive to rather than settle for.
The hoarding is up, the unit is closed off, and there is nothing to eat yet.
Dinesty joins a run of recent Coquitlam openings including SaltyBear on The High Street, Alfa Tea on North Road, and Kinton Ramen’s own stall in the same food court.
