A popular yogurt drink chain has quietly closed one of its Vancouver locations.
Hey! I Am Yogost’s Kerrisdale store at 5631 West Boulevard has permanently shut down.

A closure notice posted on the storefront, written in both English and Chinese, states that the shop officially closed on December 31, 2025 after its lease came to an end.
The notice reads “as our lease is coming to an end, our store will officially close on December 31st, 2025.”

It also confirms that all remaining gift card balances have been transferred to the Hey! I Am Yogost Lansdowne Centre store in Richmond for continued use.
The notice ends by thanking customers for their support and expressing hope to serve them again in the future.
For anyone unfamiliar with the brand, Hey! I Am Yogost (also known by its Chinese name 我是酸奶君) is a yogurt drink chain that originated in Shenzhen, China in 2017.
The brand has grown to over 70 locations worldwide, spanning China, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Malaysia, the United States, and Canada.

Its menu centres around yogurt-based beverages made with Greek-style yogurt sourced from farms in Saskatchewan.
The drinks are known for ingredients like purple rice, real fruit, and prebiotics, positioning the brand as a healthier alternative to traditional bubble tea.
The Kerrisdale location was one of several Hey! I Am Yogost shops across Metro Vancouver.

Other locations include Lansdowne Centre in Richmond, Richmond Centre, SFU, and a Marpole area store on Granville Street.
A previously operated downtown Vancouver location on Dunsmuir Street has also closed.
With both the Kerrisdale and downtown locations now gone, the brand’s Metro Vancouver footprint has shrunk noticeably over the past year.
