Burnaby’s dining scene just got a chic new addition!
Glowbal Restaurant Group has just rolled out their “reimagined” Trattoria this Thursday, September 12th.
Previously known for its casual rustic charm, the Trattoria opened back in 2015 has now undergone a stunning transformation to its interior and food offering, blending elegance with rustic Italian vibes.
They’ve revamped the space from floor to ceiling, introducing a sophisticated, upscale environment that echoes the beloved Italian Kitchen on Burrard Street.
Even the name of the restaurant has now officially changed from simply Trattoria to Trattoria by Italian Kitchen.
The new Trattoria still boasts a cozy yet expansive layout, featuring private and semi-private rooms, an 18-seat pizza bar, and a 65-seat heated patio for year-round al-fresco dining.
The interior merges modern elegance with classic Italian warmth, offering a refined setting for enjoying a meal.
Headed by Italian-born Executive Chef Matteo Fontana, the menu at Trattoria is a celebration of Italy’s culinary traditions.
Fontana’s creations showcase tableside flair and time-honored recipes, with options like Truffle Spaghetti & Meatballs, 100-Layer Lasagna, Sicillian Clams, Mozzarella Carrozza, and more.
One thing that locals loved about the old Trattoria was its deals. Well, the new refined one isn’t stepping away from that!
From weekend brunch to Tratt Tuesdays to Pizza & Wine Wednesdays, you’ll find plenty of decently priced options available.
