Grabbing Indian street food without getting out of your car has not really been an option around here, until now.
Rollzzy, a fast-growing kathi roll chain, has opened what it calls the area’s first Indian quick-service drive-thru in Langley.
The new location sits at 26391 Fraser Highway in Langley Township, where you can order the whole menu from your car window.
That menu is built around kathi rolls, an Indian street food that traces back to 1930s Kolkata.
The short version is spiced fillings, from chicken tikka to seekh kebab to paneer, wrapped in a soft, flaky paratha and made to eat on the go.
Rollzzy runs more than 20 roll varieties across vegetarian and meat options, and rounds out the menu with Indian-style burgers, momos, and chai.
The drive-thru is the whole point here.
Kathi rolls are already built for eating one-handed, so pairing them with a car window is a genuinely smart fit.
The chain leans into that too, with a setup made to run long hours, including breakfast paratha rolls in the early morning.
If you have run into Rollzzy before, you know it has been expanding quickly.
The brand started back in 2023 and now runs eight locations around the region, in areas like Vancouver, Surrey, Pitt Meadows, Abbotsford, and Tsawwassen.
The Langley drive-thru is the one that stands out, since a dedicated Indian food drive-thru is rare.
Usually you’ll find a Tim Hortons, Triple O’s or A&W as the generic option for a gas station drive thru.
For a category that usually means sitting down or waiting on delivery, ordering a kathi roll from a car window is a real shift.
It is a bet that Langley drivers will treat a kathi roll the way they already treat a burger combo, as a quick meal to grab on the way home.
Rollzzy Langley now joins other recently opened food spots around the region like Hungry Tiger in Burnaby, CK Tea C in Richmond, and Betsutenjin in West End.
