Little Pisces is about to make a splash with its grand opening on Saturday, June 1st.
Back in April, we shared the origin story of this upcoming Taiyaki and soft serve spot.
Jacky Tian and Linda Dai, the dynamic duo behind this dessert spot, are thrilled to invite you to their brand new location.
Having evolved from a pop-up to now their very own physical store, Little Pisces aims to introduce Metro Vancouver to taiyaki with a twist.
Founded by two long-time friends with roots in tech and business, their journey from concept to reality is all about adding a unique spin to the traditional Japanese dessert.
Opening doors at 1 PM, Little Pisces is set to welcome dessert lovers with a sweet deal: a free cup of soft serve ice cream with every purchase of a 5pc box of taiyakis.
Note that this opening promo is valid on June 1st only, so make sure to swing by!
But that’s not all—the festivities will go on until midnight, ensuring plenty of time to indulge in their mouth-watering menu.
From red bean and custard to creative takes like ube and hotteok, their taiyakis promise a delightful crunch with a mochi-like chewiness inside.
And if taiyaki isn’t enough, you can top off your treat with their creamy soft serve in flavors like vanilla, matcha, and yuzu.
The store, which replaces a former Yifang bubble tea shop, features modern decor with a touch of bright orange, comfy seating for about 30 guests, and a custom-built tall mirror that adds to the charm.
It’s designed as the perfect late-night hangout, mirroring Jacky and Linda’s own childhood memories of North Road.
For those who can’t make it on the opening day, don’t worry!
Little Pisces will resume its regular hours from noon to midnight on Sunday, June 2nd, and will be open from 12 PM to 10 PM Monday through Thursday, and till midnight on Friday through Sunday.
Jacky and Linda have poured their hearts into making Little Pisces a vibrant addition to Burnaby’s dessert scene, leveraging their backgrounds and community feedback to create a truly unique spot.
