Sweet lovers will be happy about this news!
The space that used to be The Juice Truck in Yaletown is transforming into a paradise for sweet treats.
We spotted Ricardo’s Kandy Korner setting up shop at 1022 Mainland Street, the former Juice Truck unit that closed back in October 2025 after an eight-year run.
Pink neon signs reading “Ricardo’s Kandy Korner” and “Sweet Paradise” are already glowing through the glass.

Inside, rows of candy dispensers line one wall, a gelato display case sits along the other, and the entire space has been fitted out in polished marble with pink ductwork running across the ceiling.
If the vibe feels more luxury retail than candy store, that’s the point. This isn’t a scoop-and-bag corner shop.

This is a full buildout.
The brand bills itself as BC’s largest candy store, stocking over 400 bulk and international candies alongside a selection of ice cream and gelato.
This Yaletown location will be their first dual candy and ice cream concept shop.
It’s the latest expansion for Ricardo Rizaie, who also runs Ricardo’s Ice Cream.
The Yaletown spot will be the brand’s fourth Vancouver location and sixth in Metro Vancouver overall, joining the flagship at Granville Street, a White Rock Beach outpost and one along Robson Street.
They also have a location in Toronto’s Eaton Centre.
If you’ve been to the Granville Street flagship, you know the deal.
Walls of candy, international imports you can’t find at a regular grocery store, and enough options to keep you standing there way longer than you planned.

No official opening date has been announced, but the build-out looks close to done.
Based on what we saw through the windows, it shouldn’t be much longer.
Ricardo’s Yaletown joins other new food spot getting ready to open in Vancouver like Hiyori Coffee, Aura, and TURF Main.
Address: 1022 Mainland St, Vancouver, BC
