The food lineup for Oakridge Park’s upcoming Transit Concourse Hall in Vancouver has surfaced on the mall’s own leasing floor plan.
With most of the main floor spots now open, the next big piece is the Transit Concourse Hall, the stretch that links the mall lower level to the Canada Line station.
The leasing page on the Oakridge Park website marks five food units there as coming soon: Teriyaki Experience, Umi Sushi, A&W, Cha House and Trees Coffee.

Two more units on the plan don’t have names yet.
We’d take it with a little caution, since we can’t tell how up to date that leasing plan is.
But there’s history here.
Before the mall opened, the Oakridge website briefly showed a list of incoming brands, then took it down.
Most of the food names on it turned out to be true, including % Arabica, Hello Nori and the Time Out Market vendors.
A&W, Cha House and Steve’s Poke were on that list too, and the floor plans back then showed a row of five food units leading to the Canada Line.
We remember Teriyaki Experience from the original Oakridge Mall, and regulars from back then will too.

The Canadian chain has been around since 1986, grilling chicken, meats and vegetables to order and serving them over steamed rice with its house teriyaki sauce.
Langley is its only spot left in Metro Vancouver, so this would be a real comeback.

Umi Sushi is a grab-and-go sushi and udon name you’ve probably passed in food courts at Pacific Centre, Waterfront Centre, Metrotown and CF Richmond Centre.
Cha House pours bubble tea at food courts including Pacific Centre, Coquitlam Centre and McArthurGlen.

A&W looks to be returning to Oakridge, too.
Trees Coffee has been opening at or near transit stations all year, from Braid and Renfrew to Gilmore and Capstan, so a Canada Line spot fits the pattern.
One name is missing this time.
Steve’s Poke was on the original list, but it isn’t on the current plan anymore.
That means two old Oakridge Mall names are back on the map, Teriyaki Experience and A&W, in what looks like a mini food court with cheaper eats than Time Out Market.
We know it’s a long shot, but we’d love to see Kernals, Taco Luis, Tim Hortons and New York Fries make the trip back too.
There’s no opening date yet for the transit concourse, but based on the construction, it should be very soon.
Oakridge Park’s Transit Concourse Hall joins other upcoming Vancouver food spots like Holy Shakes, Tucci’s and Nuan Nuan.
