A popular Japanese-style cafe from the West End is getting ready to open a new kiosk inside Harbour Centre.
Fans of 93 Coffee have been buzzing online since the shop teased the upcoming location on Instagram earlier this month.
What started as a small cafe known for omurice, breakfast sets and cozy drinks is now expanding into a busy downtown hub with tons of student and office foot traffic.
Here is everything we know so far about the new Harbour Centre spot.
Photos shared online show early signage going up along with a glimpse of the menu board being installed.
It looks like the kiosk will focus on grab and go items with a tight selection of pastries, coffee drinks and possibly a few of their well known Japanese comfort dishes.
People who study or work in the area are already calling this a major win since Harbour Centre has long needed more quick breakfast and lunch options.
93 Coffee opened back in 2022 and has become a spot for Japanese comfort food like omurice, breakfast sets, and cultural events.
The cafe built a steady following thanks to its simple menu, warm atmosphere, and consistently cute presentations.
Many regulars say it is one of the easiest places to stop for a quiet morning bite.
A teaser by the individual working on their menu designs and photos did share that there will be some delicious Japanese sets that involve onigiri!
There is no confirmed opening date yet but progress appears to be moving quickly based on the latest signage updates.
If things stay on schedule, the kiosk could be serving its first drinks and snacks very soon.
93 Coffee’s Harbour Centre joins other upcoming spots in the city, including Amber Lounge, Alberello Denman, and Tahini’s.
