It feels like we have been waiting forever for this one.

But after over a year of construction and permitting delays, the big reveal is finally happening.

According to an official announcement from CF Richmond Centre, the globally renowned Japanese coffee chain % Arabica will officially open its doors tomorrow, Saturday, November 29th.

This marks the brand’s very first permanent storefront in Metro Vancouver.

If you have walked through the mall in the last year, you likely noticed the work happening at the high-traffic unit previously occupied by Starbucks.

It is situated right next to the escalators leading up to the Dining Terrace food court.

Earlier this week, we spotted that the interior looked complete and heard whispers from insiders that staff training was finished.

Now, the timeline is official.

In terms of the vibe, this spot differs slightly from the Whistler Village outpost that opened back in July.

This Richmond location appears to be designed strictly for grab-and-go efficiency.

Instead, it maintains the giant counter facade and service style of the previous tenant to handle the mall crowds.

You can expect the distinctive, glowing minimalist design the brand is famous for.

The menu will mirror the lineup found at their other Canadian locations.

That means the fan-favorite Kyoto Lattes, Spanish Lattes, and Matcha Lattes are finally available without a drive up the Sea-to-Sky highway.

Given the hype surrounding this brand and the prime location, you should expect HUGEEE lines this weekend.

% Arabica joins a massive wave of recent exciting food openings in Richmond.

It follows the arrival of O Bistro Tianjin, The Seoulful, and the new Trees Organics at Capstan Station.

Get your cameras ready and we will see you in line.
