And one of the city’s most vibrant dining pockets is gearing up for its annual food celebration!
Crave the Heights returns September 11 to 20, 2025, bringing ten days of food, fun and community spirit to North Burnaby’s Heights neighbourhood.
The dining showcase is all about encouraging locals and visitors alike to explore the flavours of the Heights, while also supporting the restaurants, cafes and food spots that give the area its unique charm.
This year, over 20 stellar restaurants are taking part, each putting their own spin on Crave with special menus, limited-time creations and exclusive offers.
You’ll find everything from bold and savoury mains to playful desserts that make dining in the Heights extra special.
New additions to the roster include RENS Cafe, Sabrosito, Ramen Butcher, Crema and Nuvola, alongside longtime favourites like Siam le Bien, Glenburn Soda Fountain, Green & Oak Restaurant, and more.
Festival-goers can look forward to dishes like Siam le Bien’s three-course tasting menu, 15% off all karaage and gyoza with any ramen order at Ramen Butcher, a seafood laksa pot at Green & Oak, and even a Banana Pudding Sundae at Crema for those with a sweet tooth.
Each participating restaurant is bringing something new to the table, making Crave the Heights a perfect chance to try something different or enjoy a fresh take on your go-to comfort food.
But it’s not just about the food.
Crave the Heights also adds a dose of lively entertainment to the mix.
Local bands and musicians will be performing throughout the neighbourhood, and this year will feature two special community dance nights at Heights Fountain Square on September 11 and 20 starting at 5:30 p.m.
Expect Salsa, Swing and plenty of energy to pair with your evening out.
Since its launch in 2017, Crave the Heights has grown into a signature neighbourhood event hosted by the Burnaby Heights Merchants Association.
The goal has always been simple: to highlight the Heights as a must-visit food destination while boosting local businesses during a quieter season.
Because Crave is never the same twice, each year brings a fresh lineup of dishes, creative menus and memorable experiences.
