Chez Christophe Combines Viral Crookie With Their Signature Croissant Cube

There’s a good chance that your social media feed has been filled with the crookie – the current viral pastry sensation.

Various bakeries in the city have already begun to offer it, but Chez Christophe has other plans.

The award-winning chocolatier and bakery in Burnaby Heights and White Rock have merged the crookie with their popular croissant cube, to make a combination unlike any other!

In case you’re wondering, a Crookie is what happens when a chocolate chip cookie and a croissant decide to become one.

Essentially, you split a croissant in half and stuff them with chocolate chip cookie dough. Then you bake them until the cookie dough sets.

This pastry was invented in 2022 by Stéphane Louvard of Maison Louvard in Paris.

But just recently it has re-emerged as the next viral recipe thanks to social media.

The creative team at Chez Christophe has decided to put a unique twist to the croissant cookie by integrating the elements with their signature croissant cube.

By stuffing their signature croissant cube with luscious chocolate chip cookie dough in the center and adding chocolate drizzle on top, they’ve created a masterpiece that’s freshly baked and ready to conquer your taste buds every morning!
