The World’s 4th Largest Coffee Chain Is Finally Opening Its Richmond Location This Week

Richmond coffee lovers, get your wallets (and your patience) ready.

Back in May 2025, we broke the news that the massive Chinese coffee chain, Cotti Coffee, was planning its first BC location at Lansdowne Centre.

While they were supposed to be the first, their Burnaby location pulled a fast one and beat them to the punch last month.

But now, the Richmond location is finally ready to catch up.

According to the brand’s recent post, the Lansdowne shop is scheduled to open sometime this week.

We walked past the site late last week to investigate, and the construction boards have officially come down.

The interior looks complete and ready for action.

Located right next to the T&T Supermarket, the new spot mirrors the sleek, modern vibe of its Lougheed counterpart.

If the Burnaby opening was any indicator, you should expect some serious crowds.

The “madness” of the first week is likely to repeat here as locals rush to try the global giant.

Especially since you get grab your first drink for just $0.99 via their app.

Queue of drinks on first day

If you missed the hype, Cotti Coffee is a big deal.

Founded by former executives of Luckin Coffee, it has exploded to over 13,000 locations worldwide, making it the fourth-largest coffee brand on the planet.

They are famous for two things:

  1. The Price: Most drinks are wallet-friendly (often under $6).
  2. The Menu: Unique items like the Pampas Blue Coconut Latte, Orange Americano, and the viral Stardust Crema Latte.

We will keep you posted the second the doors officially unlock, but it’s happening very soon.

Cotti Coffee joins a busy lineup of new food spots hitting Richmond, including the just-announced Oakberry at Galleria Concord, Hey Yearn Restaurant, and Breka Bakery at Richmond Centre.

Address: Lansdowne Centre (Next to T&T), Richmond, BC
