Popular Nana’s Green Tea Is Celebrating 7 Years With $7 Parfaits, Cakes & More All Week Long

Matcha lovers, listen up!

One of Vancouver’s OG matcha cafes is turning 7, and they’re celebrating in the tastiest way possible.

Yup, we’re talking about Nana’s Green Tea, who is ringing in their 7th anniversary this June with a week of sweet promos and exclusive deals that’ll make any matcha fan sprint for the counter.

From June 2 to June 8, Nana’s Green Tea will be holding 4 week-long promotions at the same time.

1. $7 Matcha or Hojicha Parfaits

To celebrate their 7th year, they’re slashing prices of their most popular shiratama parfaits to $7!

Only 100 available daily: 50 at 11AM and another 50 at 6PM.

This is on a first-come, first-served basis. So you’ll want to go early or go home!

2. $7 for ALL Cakes

If you’re looking for something aside from a parfait, they’ve got slices of cakes as well. From matcha roll cake to yuzu cheesecake – all for $7 during this anniversary promotion!

Yes, all of the items under the cake category will be $7. Available for dine-in and to-go.

No quantity limit, but they will likely sell out!

3. Nana’s Rewards Bonus

Sign up as a new member during the anniversary week and get 700 points (equivalent to $7) after your first purchase.

4. $3 Coupon with Every Order

Every valid order earns you a $3 coupon for your next visit.

Valid for both dine-in and takeout.

As Andy from Nana’s shared with Noms Magazine:

“Reaching our 7th anniversary is more than a milestone—it’s a moment of gratitude. We opened Nana’s Green Tea with the hope of sharing a little piece of Japan with our community, and over the years, that community has given us so much in return. We are deeply thankful for everyone who has supported us along the way.”

Nana’s Green Tea first opened in 2018 in Kerrisdale, launching the brand’s first North American location. Late last year, they relocated to a larger shop in Mount Pleasant, continuing to fuel the city’s matcha obsession in an even bigger space.

Founded in Tokyo, Nana’s is often dubbed the “Starbucks of Japan”, but instead of frappes and cold brews, they’re serving up matcha frappes, lattes, sodas, soft serve, and dreamy roll cakes.

Their green tea leaves come directly from Uji, Kyoto, which is basically the Napa Valley of matcha.

So if you’ve got a sweet tooth and a soft spot for green tea, this is the week to show Nana’s some love.

Make sure to tell your matcha-obsessed friends to, because deals like this only come once every 7 years.
