Creators of Oshi Nori & Craffle Launching New “No Bad Vibes” Cafe Downtown Vancouver

If you need an escape from the grey Vancouver weather, a new spot opening downtown says they have the cure.

It is called No Bad Days, and it is taking over the corner of Nelson and Seymour on December 1st.

Locals will recognize the location as the former home of Heir Pears, which closed its doors back in April.

But the new occupants are bringing a completely different energy to the space.

It is the latest project from Paulo and Priscilla Lyra, the duo behind popular Metro Vancouver spots like Yaletown’s Oshi Nori and Craffle.

Now, they are expanding their portfolio with a concept entirely focused on wellness.

Paulo shared with Noms Magazine that the goal here is simple.

They want to “fuel joy” and spark positivity in a city that can get pretty gloomy this time of year.

The new space has been completely renovated to match that mission and vibe.

They have swapped out the old decor for a brighter, cleaner look featuring white tables and benches designed to feel like a breath of fresh air.

The menu is pitched as an “all-day wellness” experience.

Paulo and Priscilla say the kitchen is focusing on clean, nourishing eats that are locally sourced and all about putting good food in your body.

It is designed to be also inclusive, with plenty of vegan and gluten-free options on the board.

You can expect a mix of healthy smoothies, wellness shots, acai bowls, and house-made granola.

But it isn’t just liquids and bowls.

They will also be serving proper brunch items, sandwiches, and coffee pastries to keep the “all-day” crowd fed.

The cafe will seat around 40 people inside.

However, they are also trying to keep the outdoor vibes alive with a 20-seat patio equipped with umbrellas and heating.

This opening adds to the growing list of upcoming Vancouver food spots like Time Out Market, Nine Bar Coffee and Big Mama’s & Papa’s Pizza.

While this is their first location, Paulo has already hinted that they are looking to take this positivity-focused concept to other neighbourhoods soon.

Doors open on December 1st.
