A major Hollywood star is quickly becoming a regular at one of downtown Vancouver’s Indian restaurants.
Nick Jonas was recently spotted dining at Desi Indian Lounge on Hornby Street, posing for a photo with the restaurant’s team during his visit.
It was not his first time at the spot either.
The singer and actor previously visited Desi back in September 2025, making this his second known trip to the downtown lounge.
Jonas is in Vancouver right now to film Camp Rock 3, the long-awaited sequel to Disney’s beloved musical franchise.
The movie is set to premiere on Disney+ and Disney Channel in summer 2026.
All three Jonas Brothers are reprising their roles as the fictional band Connect 3.
Joe Jonas is returning as Shane Gray, Nick as Nate Gray, and Kevin as Jason Gray.
The original Camp Rock debuted in 2008 and became one of Disney Channel’s biggest hits.
A sequel followed in 2010, and fans have been waiting over 15 years for a third installment.
Filming has been underway in Metro Vancouver over the past several months, which explains why the brothers have been spotted around the city at various restaurants and events.
During his latest visit to Desi, Jonas and his table ordered a spread of dishes that leaned into the restaurant’s modern Indian menu.
The order included Kerala Chicken Pepper, Paneer Tikka, Paneer Butter Masala, and Biryani.
The restaurant, located on Hornby Street, serves elevated Indian cuisine in a moody, lounge-style setting.
The space features ornate decor, ambient lighting, and a striking chandelier that gives it a distinctly upscale feel.
Desi has built a following for its cocktail-forward approach to Indian dining, combining traditional flavours with a nightlife atmosphere.
The restaurant shared a photo of Jonas posing with the entire staff during his visit.
Jonas has also been spotted at other Vancouver restaurants during his time in the city.
He was seen dining at Acquafarina, an upscale Italian restaurant downtown, just days after his Desi visit.
He had previously dined at Acquafarina with his wife Priyanka Chopra Jonas during an earlier trip to Vancouver.
Jonas is just the latest celebrity to be spotted dining out in Vancouver this year.
Back in February, the four actors who played the Hobbits in The Lord of the Rings were spotted at Vij’s on Valentine’s Day while in town for Fan Expo.
Elijah Wood, Sean Astin, Billy Boyd, and Dominic Monaghan all dined together at the iconic Indian restaurant, with Wood calling the experience “very hobbity.”
Desi Indian Lounge can now officially count a Jonas Brother as a repeat customer.
