It looks like the writing was officially on the wall.
Back in October, we reported that Milko Coconut Dessert had been spotted listed for sale after just two years in business.
Now, it appears the end has finally come for the brand and it seems they didn’t find the exit they were looking for.

While there has been no official announcement from the business, the signs are undeniable.
A Noms Magazine community member (Ricky) recently spotted that the business is now tagged as “Permanently Closed” on Google.

Furthermore, after swinging by the location multiple times in December during posted “opening hours,” the shop was found dark and locked up.
Oddly, none of the furniture has been moved.

To make matters worse, the business listing for the shop is reportedly still live.
This suggests that a sale never went through, and the owners likely had to walk away before finding a replacement tenant.
For fans of their coconut puddings, this is a tough loss.
Since opening in December 2022, Milko built a solid reputation (4.4 stars on Google) for its inventive flavours like Purple Yam and Durian.

They were best known for their signature glass jars, which came with a beloved return program that offered $1 off future purchases.
If you have a stack of those jars at home waiting to be returned, you are unfortunately out of luck.
The 750 sq. ft. shop near the Richmond Public Market is now just another empty storefront.
Milko now joins a growing list of notable Richmond food spots that have recently shuttered, including Tea Industries, Wo Fung, and T&T ORA.
