Unfortunately, we have more bittersweet news as the year comes to a close.
Richmond’s Dim Sum Now has announced they will be closing their doors at the end of January 2025.
Located in the Admiralty Centre food court, this family-owned dim sum stall has been a cherished spot for fresh, affordable dim sum since it opened in June 2020.
The stall was known for dishes like Pan-Fried Fish Cake, Siu Mai, Dumplings, and even the Durian Mochi.
The announcement, shared on their social media pages, revealed that the closure is due to their lease ending on January 29th, 2025.
As part of their farewell, Dim Sum Now will stop serving regular dim sum items on January 12th to focus exclusively on Chinese New Year specialties until their final day.
When a customer asked on social media about plans to reopen elsewhere, the team at Dim Sum Now shared that there are no immediate plans for a new location.
The closure of Dim Sum Now marks another loss for Richmond’s food scene, especially for those who appreciated its fresh, affordable, and approachable dim sum.
If you’ve yet to visit—or want to enjoy one last bite—there’s still time to stop by and savor their delicious offerings before the dim sum service ends on January 12th.
