Richmond just lost another everyday stop.
Fresh Note Market on Westminster Highway has gone quiet.
When we walked by in early October, the doors were covered, and the coolers inside looked shuffled and not in use.

Opened in 2023, Fresh Note Market took over two side‑by‑side street front spaces.
It was located a short walk from Richmond–Brighouse Station and directly across from Richmond Public Market.
This was one of those handy locations you pass on the way to the Canada Line for a grocery run.

With a 4.3-star rating on Google Reviews, what it offered was simple and useful: fresh produce, tropical fruit, and Asian pantry basics at prices that worked for weeknight dinners.
The 1,800 sq. ft. unit is now listed for sale as well.

There’s a large freezer and extra refrigerated display cases, which can be used by a similar business or removed, suggesting it’s still unclear what will be installed here.
Either way, it signals how quickly Richmond’s core is shifting, with small, locally run grocers bowing out and familiar corner spaces changing hands.
Fresh Note Market now joins other recently closed spots in Richmond: A Bao Time, Milkcow, and Grill Party.
Address: 8211 Westminster Hwy Unit 100-110, Richmond, BC V6X 1A7
