Good news for all you pie lovers out there!
The Pie Hole, known for its heavenly handmade pies, is gearing up to sweeten Greektown with its newest location.
We spotted Pie Hole signage by Lala Island Cafe. They’ll be taking over the space that formerly housed Fresh Ideas Here.
This marks a delicious new chapter for the area and The Pie Hole alike.
Who’s Behind the Pies?
The Pie Hole started as Jenell Parsons’ brainchild in 2011, sprouting from farmers’ markets and food truck rallies.
By 2017, Jenell’s dreams were baked into reality, with her first brick-and-mortar store paving the way for rapid expansion across Vancouver
This growth was only a slice of Jenell’s pie achievements, as she authored the best-selling book “You Wanna Piece of Me?” in 2020, earning her the sweet title of Canada’s Pie Queen.
Locals can’t get enough of her pies, which use local, produce, dairy, and free range eggs whenever possible!
Despite the recent bittersweet news of the lease termination of the Kitsilano outpost (Purebread to take over in March), Jenell’s spirit remains unshaken.
With the opening in Greektown and plans for expansion into East Vancouver and the North Shore, it’s clear that The Pie Hole’s domination isn’t stopping.
The opening date isn’t until sometime in Spring 2024, but Greektown and West Broadway residents can soon enjoy The Pie Hole’s delicious seasonal pies!
