The footage shows the SUV lodged inside the unit with its front end past the storefront wall.

Shattered glass is scattered across the sidewalk, and a Pokerrito promotional sign can be seen lying on the ground beneath the debris.

A tow truck operator in a high-visibility jacket is visible working to pull the vehicle out using a flatbed.

Pokerrito addressed the incident on their Instagram story shortly after.

“We’re all safe. There was an unexpected incident at our Hornby location today. Thankfully, no one was injured,” the message reads.

“We will be temporarily closed until repairs are completed. Thank you for your understanding.”

According to a report by CTV, this was due to a crash between two vehicles that pushed this SUV into the store.

Pokerrito is a poke bowl restaurant that has been operating at the Hornby and Nelson intersection in downtown Vancouver.

The location is a busy stretch near Robson Square with heavy traffic during the daytime.

The extent of the damage to the interior is not fully clear from the video, but the storefront will need significant repairs before the restaurant can reopen.

There is no timeline yet for when the location will reopen.

Pokerrito has not shared any further updates beyond the initial story post.
