Those thick, beautifully layered yogurt bowls that have been all over your social media feed just got a lot easier to find in Richmond.
Yogurie, the Chinese-style thick yogurt bowl shop that originally opened on the east side of Richmond in November 2025, has soft opened its new and bigger Buswell Street location near Richmond Centre.
If you have not come across these before, the concept is pretty simple but the execution is anything but.
Yogurie specializes in cold brew Greek yogurt bowls topped with premium imported fruit, dried yogurt skins, and other toppings that are as photogenic as they are indulgent.
We stopped by anonymously last week to check it out.
The space has been partly renovated from its previous tenant, Hui Lau Shan, and still has plenty of seating.
Inside, the clean white and blue-tiled interior gives off a bright, modern vibe with a mix of booth seating and smaller tables.
There were already a decent number of people inside when we visited.
One thing that stands out right away is the display cases filled with fresh fruit, from pineapples and figs to strawberries and kiwi.
Behind the counter, there are also rows of pre-made yogurt cups and fresh berry containers available for grab-and-go.
We ordered the Grilled Milk Skin Shine Muscat and the Matcha Milk Skin.
The Shine Muscat bowl came with halved Korean Shine Muscat grapes topped with pieces of grilled milk skin and dried Greek yogurt tucked in between.
The matcha version came in a sealed cup with a vivid green color.
For those unfamiliar with these thick yogurt bowls, the price point might be the biggest surprise.
Most bowls land around $18.99 and the Cold Brew Yogurt Bowls go up to $21.99 each.
Fresh-cut fruit cups range from $11.99 for an Akizuki Pear cup to $19.99 for the Extra Juicy Wax Apple.
It is definitely not for everyone.
These are positioned more as a luxury dessert experience, which is exactly what Yogurie leans into with their tagline “Quiet Luxury In A Cup.”
The menu is extensive, covering categories like Shake Cup Series, Cold Brew Yogurt Bowls, Cold Brew Mixed Fruit Crisp Sandwiches, and Fresh Cut Fruit.
Online ordering is available through their ordering platform.
Yogurie joins other recently opened food spots in Richmond like Dao Field Noodle Shop, Chengdu Noodle, and Younmi, continuing the wave of new openings in the area.
