If you have a big appetite and are tired of Vancouver’s skyrocketing food prices, your week just got a lot better.
A longtime staple on Commercial Drive has just dropped a deal that sounds almost too good to be true in 2025.
The London Fish is now offering All-You-Can-Eat fish and chips.
The price for this unlimited feast is arguably the best part.
It is only $17.50 per person.
(This is comparable to Cockney Kings’ AYCE, but that is only in Burnaby and New West)
This isn’t a “limited time” glitch; it is their new weekly ritual available every Monday through Wednesday from 11 AM to 8 PM.
While the deal is new, the spot itself has deep roots in the city.
Longtime locals will remember this location as “The Windjammer.”
It is one of Vancouver’s oldest restaurants and actually holds a piece of royal history.
Back in 1971, the founder served his signature fish and chips to Queen Elizabeth II during her royal tour to Vancouver.
She apparently loved it so much that she sent a personal letter from Buckingham Palace to thank him.
The restaurant rebranded to “The London Fish” in 2024, but the team & kitchen has kept that original British-style recipe alive.
Now, about the fine print for the deal.
The team is serious about their “zero waste” policy.
You get a 90-minute dining window to eat as much as you can handle.
They serve one refill at a time, meaning you have to finish your plate before the next round arrives.
Naturally, there is no sharing allowed, and you definitely cannot ask for a doggy bag to take the leftovers home.
It is strictly a sit-down challenge for those who take their battered cod seriously.
