If TABLES is your default pit stop before a movie or a SkyTrain ride, this one is a bummer.
A Noms Magazine community member (foodtfoodt) shared with us that the ThaiGo stall at The Amazing Brentwood’s food court has been cleared out.
For those who know the layout, ThaiGo’s stall used to sit right beside Bubble Waffle Cafe on Level 2.
If it feels like this food court has been playing musical chairs all year, you are not imagining it.
Back in September, we reported that two other vendors, My Toan and Good Taco, quietly shut down inside TABLES.
Now, with ThaiGo apparently gone too, that’s three stalls in the same food court that have disappeared in a single year.
It stings a bit because ThaiGo was the kind of place you could count on when you wanted fast Thai flavours without committing to a full sit-down meal.
For regulars, it was a solid move for a quick curry or rice plate while hunting for a seat.
On paper, Thaigo was built for mall life.
Broadway Foods Group, the parent company, lists ThaiGo as a concept that has been around since 2016.
They operate locations at other busy hubs like Lonsdale Quay Market, Park Royal, and Victoria’s Hillside Shopping Centre.
While the company website still lists a Brentwood address, the hours are labelled “coming soon,” suggesting the page hasn’t been updated recently.
We also haven’t seen a clear closure announcement from the brand.
However, as of today, ThaiGo no longer appears on The Amazing Brentwood’s official dining directory.
If there is any good news here, it is that TABLES moves fast when it wants to.
After My Toan closed, Haidilao Express MaLaTang moved in and took over the stall almost immediately.
According to various Noms Mag community members, A&W will be replacing the unit.
ThaiGo now joins a run of recent Burnaby goodbyes, like Dinesty Dumpling House’s Kingsway location, TerraCotta Boyz, and Crystal Mall’s S&W Pepper House.
