This time it’s Unique Bakery, taking over the previous Khaykery Bakery unit beside Aberdeen Centre Skytrain Station.

Unique Bakery, an artisanal bakery specializing in low sugar and low oil bread, opened its doors in Burnaby in 2020.
Now, they’re bringing their delightful offerings to Richmond, hoping to make more people fall in love with their unique, healthy taste.
Each morning, Unique Bakery bakes their bread from scratch using the finest ingredients. The result?
Fresh, aromatic bread that sets the perfect tone for your day.
Their embrace of the ancient natural fermentation process means every loaf is crafted by hand with love and sincerity, bringing out the purest flavours.
The Richmond outpost offers a similar menu to their Burnaby location.
You can expect their pastry cases filled with an array of delicious treats like Korean ice scones, Japanese bagels, European bread, and German pretzels in flavours like pistachio, earl grey, matcha, and black sesame.
They also offer Japanese toast and more, ensuring there’s something for everyone.
While Khaykery Bakery may have shuttered, not all of its influence is gone.
We noticed several Filipino items still present at the edge of one of Unique Bakery’s pastry cases.
It appears these are offered by a third party, adding a delightful touch of diversity to the selection.
