Metrotown folks, get ready for some exciting news!
Ngon Cafe has just soft-opened their first Burnaby location, and it’s bringing all the Banh Mi and Vietnamese coffee goodness you could ask for.
Taking over the spot where Guulu Cafe, who went viral for their adorable egg-shaped eggyakis, used to be, Ngon Cafe is ready to serve Burnaby locals.
Ngon started in 2019 on Kingsway and has been a beloved spot for Vietnamese treats ever since.
This new outpost operates mainly as a take-out location, which is why you’ll see the “Express” sign.
The menu here is packed with 8 different Banh Mi options, including favs like the Ngon Special, Grilled Beef, BBQ Pork, Classic Coldcut, and Halal Grilled Chicken.
The pricing is also quite on par with other known banh mi spots around the city.
For drinks, they have all your usual coffee shop suspects like americano, latte, and mocha.
But let’s be real – you’re here for the Vietnamese coffee.
They offer delicious options like the house special, coco coffee frappe, salted cream, and bac siu.
Not a coffee fan? No worries, they also have fruit teas.
Unlike their original Kingsway spot, this location doesn’t offer special noodle dishes like grilled beef noodles or BBQ pork noodles.
However, they do have a pastry case with cookies and other baked goodies.
Since this is more of a take-out spot, seating is limited to 4 single seats at the window bar.
It’s perfect for a quick bite or a coffee on the go.
Never tried Ngon Cafe before? Now’s the perfect time!
They’re offering 25% off until Saturday, August 10th, as part of their soft opening promotion.
Share this exciting new spot with your friends and make sure to check out Ngon Cafe in Burnaby soon!
