Popular Big Way Hot Pot Opens Its Largest Burnaby Location Yet

The Big Way empire just got bigger – again.

The popular self-serve malatang hot pot chain has officially opened its new Brentwood Gilmore outpost inside the Gilmore Place development as of September 27th.

This marks its 12th location in Metro Vancouver.

If youโ€™ve been to any of Big Wayโ€™s other spots, this new one will feel instantly familiar.

The restaurant features its signature setup: a massive wall lined with over 100 ingredients to choose from and a dozen broths for customers to mix and match.

Spanning 3,321 sq. ft, the Gilmore location has seating for up to 100 guests and mirrors the sleek, modern interiors seen at their Lougheed and West End spots.

Warm lighting, clean lines, and inviting booths give the space a polished yet casual vibe perfect for group hangs or late-night eats.

This is now Burnaby’s largest location.

Speaking of late nights, this new Big Way is keeping with traditionโ€”itโ€™s open until 2 AM.

Paid parking is available for those driving in.

Big Way joins a growing lineup of food and drink spots at Gilmore Place, including upcoming tenants like Galbi KBBQ, Brooklyn Dumpling Spot, KFC, Trees Coffee, and T&T Supermarket.

And this isnโ€™t the end of Big Wayโ€™s expansion.

The brand is showing no signs of slowing down, with new locations slated to open in Surrey, Olympic Village, Victoria, and North Vancouver soon.

And that’s not counting their US and Toronto expansions.

Yep, the Big Way invasion continues.
