Last month, we hinted that something exciting was on the horizon for Sooda’s original Burnaby location, and now the wait is officially over!
Say hello to Porkerface, a brand-new all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ experience specializing in premium pork belly cuts.
The fun name hints at the challenge of keeping a “poker face” while savouring all the perfect flavours and spices.
Porkerface soft-opened on November 29th, and is brought to you by the same folks behind Sooda.
For just $26.99 at lunch (11:30 AM – 4:30 PM) or $32.99 at dinner (5:30 PM – 11:00 PM), diners can enjoy all the pork belly they want.
What can you expect on the menu?
The all-you-can-eat meal includes pork belly, Denjang Chigae (soybean paste stew), rice, salad, side dishes, and wrap vegetables.
And if you’re still craving more, soybean paste stew and wrap vegetables can be added from the second serving onward for a special price.
But remember—a time limit of 1 hour and 30 minutes applies, and everyone in the group must opt in for the all-you-can-eat experience.
Porkerface also has a few rules to keep in mind—leftovers will incur a charge of $40 per person, so come with an appetite!
You’ll also need to finish at least half of your order before requesting refills, just to clamp down on food wastage.
With the old Sooda location now transformed to Porkerface and Galbi KBBQ opening down at Gilmore Place, Brentwood locals will have a healthy dose of KBBQ in the area to enjoy!
