New Spanish Restaurant By World’s 2nd Best Paella Title Holder Soft Opens In Mount Pleasant

Vancouver’s dining scene just got a tasty boost!

Casa Molina, the newest venture by the Paella Guys who are known for bringing the authentic Spanish paella experience, just soft opened on May 2nd.

Chef Javier Blanc snagged the second-best paella title at the prestigious Concurs Internacional de Paella Valenciana de Sueca and is at the helm.

Located in the former Mangia Cucina space in Mount Pleasant, Casa Molina blends the old with the new, creating a warm, inviting spot perfect for any occasion.

Menu wise – Casa Molina offers a slice of Spain with the star being the traditional Valencian paellas and fideuàs, crafted using house-made sofrito, pimentón, and saffron.

4 different paellas are available: Chicken & Rabbit, Seafood, Squid Ink, and Vegan.

Other Spanish dishes and appetizers round out the menu.

As per their Instagram post, reservations are recommended due to the capacity and soft opening phase. Only some walk-in space will be available.
