In a city that loves both fitness, aesthetic cafes, and wine bars, the Catalyst fits right in.
But The Catalyst isn’t just any café and wine bar.
It’s strategically located by the entrance of Altea Active, the new member-only luxury wellness and social club known for its all-inclusive spa facilities and 150+ weekly fitness classes.
Overall the building – which is located right by Cambie Bridge – itself is a hub of activity, housing the Canadian headquarters of major companies like Best Buy, Vega, and Bordel Entertainment.
Altea Active and Catalyst: A Synergistic Partnership
Altea Active’s philosophy extends beyond fitness, emphasizing nourishment for both body and mind.
So a cafe for health-conscious individuals and socialites makes a ton of sense then.
seeking a post-workout smoothie, specialty coffee, fresh grab + go items makes a ton of sense then.
The menu boasts a range of teas, specialty coffees, smoothies, and baked goodies from PAUL Bakery, along with grab-and-go items like bagels and sandwiches.
Transforming Evenings into a Wine Haven
And you can’t have a community without some vino.
During the evening, Catalyst allows guests to unwind and enjoy a curated selection of wines and craft beers. With its fancy decor and ample seating, it will make for a decent spot for people to relax and socialize.
But sipping on wine or beer will have to wait a week as the staff at Catalyst informed us that they’re still in progress of acquiring their liquor license.
The Catalyst joins the increase of cafes and wine bars in the Mount Pleasant neighbourhood.
